Living now for three weeks in the Rua do Beformosso, close to the Intendente square. A very authentic and lively neighbourhood.

The PRISMA Estudio is located at the Rua da Palma, but the residency apartment in the paralel Rua do Benformoso – really special, quite “shady” street, definitely off the tourist track. Come and see it yourself!

The house with a green facade is somehow iconic—laundry decorating the wall with always different patches of color.

Love the A vida portuguesa shop on the square.

It offers a fantastic selection of true Portuguese products!

Totally impressed by the blue tiles of the PARQUE metro station.

And chased the “light pockets” in the city again—somehow I am addicted to wandering around here, uphill, downhill, taking pictures every few steps, just cannot stop it.

Amazing how many stunning compositions unfold at almost every corner, how different they are depending on the time of day, on the angle of the shining sun.

Me and Sammi, we made a trip to Estoril today. Beautiful location by the coast, easy to reach with the local comboio from Cais do Sodre. We hoped for a swim in the

Piscina Oceânica do Estoril

…but with many heavy clouds and not a really sunny sky, it felt too cold, eventually.

But next time, for sure! A great reason to come back.

We loved the passage connecting the main road with the beach and were super impressed by such modern azulejos decorating its walls.

The artist who created them is Nadir Afonso, a Portuguese painter – worked with Le Corbusier and Oscar Niemeyer and lived by the end of his life in Cascais.
